Dr. S. J. Hepziba Magie Jessima specializes in corrosion studies and corrosion inhibitors. She holds a Master's in General Chemistry and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Avinashilingam Institute of Home Science and Higher Education for Women, Coimbatore. Her future research aims to explore biopolymer modifications, corrosion protection coatings, and environmental sustainability. She has published in national and international Scopus-indexed journals on corrosion studies. Dr. Jessima has organized several seminars, workshops, and conferences. Some workshops were in association with the Indian Academy of Sciences. She received funding from DST (SPLICE) for a national conference and DST (INSPIRE) for Science Internship camps from 2012 to 2015. Recently, her proposal to organize a national seminar was sanctioned by DST (SERB).
