Dr. Muskaan holds a Master's, M. Phil, and Doctorate in Applied Linguistics from the Central University of Hyderabad. Her research focuses on socio-semantic, pragmatic language use, and (Im)politeness Studies. She also works on Language Pedagogy, Semiotics, and Domain-specific Language Applications. Her papers have been published in national and international journals. In her career, she has taught courses like ?Language, Mind, and Machine? and ?Language, Classroom, and Pedagogy? at the BA and MA levels. Her teaching approach fosters a holistic understanding of language. Dr. Muskaan received the Mozilla India Responsible Computing Challenge Grant 2024 for her project on integrating ethics into technical communication. She serves as the co-principal investigator. Since 2022, she has been with Christ University, currently an Assistant Professor at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bannerghatta Road Campus.
