Dr. Manjesh M. specializes in Horticulture and Applied Botany. He holds a Master?s degree in Horticulture from the University of Agricultural and Horticultural Sciences, Shivamogga, and a Doctorate in Applied Botany from Kuvempu University, Karnataka. He successfully cleared the ICAR Junior Research Fellowship and National Eligibility Test in Horticulture. Dr. Manjesh?s research focuses on hi-tech horticulture and climate-resilient agriculture, particularly in olericulture. He has co-authored four books in regional languages, published six research papers, and eight folders. He frequently contributes to All India Radio, discussing agriculture, crop production, and value addition. He has participated in over 10 national and international conferences, seminars, and workshops. Dr. Manjesh developed a technology for the underexploited vegetable crop yardlong bean, earning him the Young Scientist?Horticulture award at an international conference organized by ISAHRD, Chandigarh, in collaboration with ICAR, New Delhi. With five and a half years of academic and research experience, he served as Assistant Professor at Agriculture University, Shivamogga, and Academic Manager at Orchid International Institutions. Since 2024, he has been part of the Department of Life Sciences at Christ (Deemed to be University), Bangalore.
