Dr. Patrick Jude L holds an M.Phil. in Clinical Social Work from Stanley Medical College, Chennai. He earned his Ph.D. from NIMHANS, Bengaluru, focusing on the effectiveness of a School Mental Health Programme. Dr. Patrick has worked on psychosocial support projects for NDMA and NIMHANS. His efforts include disaster preparedness and mental health interventions during the Chennai and Kerala floods. He has also led wellbeing projects for the Tamil Nadu Police. Since joining CHRIST in 2021, Dr. Patrick has been an executive member of the Centre for Service-Learning. He conducts training programs and promotes service-learning within the institution. Dr. Patrick leads a project focused on mental health screening for Catholic Women Religious in India. He is also the faculty coordinator for WEvolve, a health clinic promoting well-being for university beneficiaries and marginalized communities. His research interests include school mental health, stress management, disaster support, service-learning, and psychosocial interventions.
