Dr. Rajeshwari Muthukumaran is an Assistant Professor in Psychological Sciences. She holds a joint PhD from IIT Bombay and Monash University. Her research focuses on clinical cognition and psychological processes. Her interests include attention, emotion, motivation, and reward-based learning. She studies children with special needs and neurodivergent populations. She also examines early childhood trauma and mental health outcomes. Her work addresses psychological challenges in special and vulnerable populations. She has contributed to promoting inclusivity and diversity in academic environments. She actively mentors student research projects across psychology disciplines. She organizes and leads academic workshops and professional conferences. She contributed to the Brain and Behavior Conference in 2023. She also supported Undergraduate and Young Psychologist Conferences. She continues developing innovative research methodologies and interdisciplinary collaborations. She contributes to policy development in mental health and education sectors.
