N Sharon Sucharitha Gold holds a Bachelor's in Dental Surgery and a Master's in Psychology, specializing in Clinical Psychology. Her doctoral research focuses on internet usage, academic anxiety, mental health, and emotional intelligence. Her main interests are in Cognitive Psychology and Neuropsychology. With the rise of internet use and artificial intelligence, she is keen to explore how technology impacts cognitive abilities and mental health in children, adolescents, and young adults. She has published several papers and book chapters on these topics. Recently, she became the Service Learning Cell in-charge for the Department of Psychology at Bannerghatta Road Campus. She aims to help students apply psychological concepts in real-world settings through service learning. The students will engage with women, neurodivergent children, and the LGBTQ community. The service will be based on a needs analysis. Any findings will contribute to research, expanding the service's scope.
