Dr. Dalvin Vinoth Kumar A is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistics and Data Science and a Core Member of the Center for Artificial Intelligence at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru. His research expertise spans Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Image Processing, Internet of Things (IoT), Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANET), and intelligent routing protocols. His research contributions include secure IoT communication, medical image analysis, medicinal leaf identification, predictive analytics, and optimization algorithms. His applied projects include SignRobot, an AI-based system for Indian Sign Language recognition and conversion into text and voice, and an EEG-based BrainComputer Interface. He has received the Best Innovator Award from CIYF and the Ministry of Youth Affairs, Government of India, the Best Researcher in Science Award from St. Josephs College, and the Top Poster Award at the Indian International Science Festival for rural health monitoring using IoT. He has also filed patents, secured software copyrights, and actively contributes to AI research, innovation, and education.
