CHRIST (Deemed to be University) is secular in its outlook and welcomes students from all castes, religions, creed and languages to be a part of the Christite family. CHRIST (Deemed to be University), formerly Christ College, was an Autonomous institution since 2005. Christ College was reaccredited with an A+ by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) for quality education in 2005. It has also been recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) as an institution with "Potential for Excellence".
