Dr. Ajesh Vijayan holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from CSIR-NIIST, Thiruvananthapuram. His research focuses on organic synthesis, especially carbocycles, heterocycles, and multi-component reactions. He also specializes in transition metal-catalyzed reactions, C-H activation, and electrochemical extraction of metal ions. Dr. Vijayan earned his Master's in Chemistry from Bharathiar University, securing a Gold Medal and First Rank. He completed his Bachelor?s degree at Union Christian College, Aluva, where he achieved Third Rank. His research has been published in renowned Scopus-indexed journals, and he has presented at numerous national and international conferences. A passionate educator, Dr. Vijayan engages students actively in learning. He has served in various roles, such as Journal Club Coordinator, UG Coordinator, and IQAC Coordinator. Currently, he is a Chemistry Association Coordinator, aligning his research and teaching to advance science and education.
