Dr. Sreenath K is a highly regarded academic in Psychology and Human Resources. He holds an MSc in Applied Psychology and an MBA in Human Resources. His PhD from Bharathiar University focused on improving resilience through mindfulness interventions for HIV-infected adults. His research expertise includes Grit, Resilience, Mindfulness, Yoga, Community Interventions, Literature Reviews, and Psychometric Testing. He has been a faculty member at Christ University since 2014 and coordinates the Ph.D. program at the School of Psychological Sciences, Education, and Law. Under his mentorship, two MPhils and one PhD have been awarded, with four ongoing PhD supervisions. He leads a project funded by Christ University on measuring grit using a 3-D Grit Scale. He also completed a resilience-focused project for HIV-infected adolescents at Snehagram, Tamil Nadu, and a consultancy project for TATA Electronics Pvt. Ltd. Dr. Sreenath has published extensively in reputed national and international journals. His works include a book chapter exploring the links between yogic practices and mental health.
