Dr. Sreemoyee Sarkar?s M.Phil and doctoral research focus on Maritime Piracy in the Indian Ocean. Her work examines the evolution of maritime regimes to address piracy issues. She is also deeply interested in subaltern and postmodern discourses on gender and cultural identities. Dr. Sreemoyee has taught students at various levels, from primary school to PhD programs. She has worked at several institutions, including Vidyasagar College, National University of Study and Research in Law, and Lovely Professional University.
