Dr. Priyakrushna Mohanty is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Business and Management. He holds a Ph.D. in Tourism Studies from Pondicherry University, where he was a UGC Senior Research Fellow. He earned a Master?s in Tourism Studies, receiving the Travel Corporation (India) Gold Medal. Additionally, he holds a Master?s in Finance and three PG Diplomas in Rural Development, Research Methodology, and Teaching Skills. Dr. Mohanty worked with Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation for two years. He has published over forty papers in international and national journals. Dr. Mohanty has presented more than thirty papers at conferences, both national and international. He has been invited as a guest speaker at several institutes. As a co-editor, he has contributed to five book projects with leading publishers such as Routledge, Emerald, and Springer Nature. His research interests include Tourism Sustainability, Events Tourism, and e-Tourism. Dr. Mohanty is passionate about gender issues in tourism development. He serves as the Research Mentor for the School of Business and Management at the Bannerghatta Road Campus.
