Dr Piyali Roy Chowdhury is Assistant Professor at CHRIST Bangalore Central Campus. She holds a doctorate in Financial Economics from Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai. She completed her MBA specializing in Finance and Marketing in 2009 successfully. She earned her bachelors degree in Economics in 2006 with strong academic foundation. She attended a Faculty Development Programme at Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. She has publications indexed in Scopus, Web of Science, UGC, and ABDC journals. She participated in several workshops focusing on econometric analysis and research methods. She has fourteen years academic experience and four years in retail banking operations. Her research interests include International Trade, Macroeconomics, and advanced Econometrics studies. She is a lifetime member of The Indian Econometric Society, India since 2019. She actively mentors students and contributes to management case discussions effectively. She joined CHRIST University in 2024 as a committed academic professional.
