Dr. Marie Joseph Gerard Rassendren is an Associate Professor at CHRIST University. He teaches Ethics and Economics, Indian Economics, and the Political Economy of India. His expertise extends to the History of Economic Thought and International Political Economy. He is a key member of the department's Curriculum Development Committee (CDC). His doctoral research focused on consumer choices through ethical perspectives. Currently, he studies how religious orientations influence individual choice behavior. His research interests include the economics of religion and the interface between ethics and economics. Dr. Gerard also analyzes institutions, emphasizing informal institutions and economic history.
