Dr Nayana George serves as Assistant Professor in English and Cultural Studies. She is affiliated with CHRIST University, Bannerghatta Road Campus, Bengaluru. She completed her PhD in English Studies from CHRIST University. She holds an MA and BA in English from EFLU, Hyderabad. Her doctoral research explored food, identity, space, and mobility intersections. Her work reflects interest in descriptive food writing and cultural narratives. Her research areas include Food Studies, Memory Studies, and Affect Studies. She contributes actively to literary studies and interdisciplinary scholarship. She has published articles in reputed journals including Economic and Political Weekly. Her work also appears in Rupkatha Journal and Journal of Creative Communications. She has presented research at national and international academic conferences. Her contributions reflect commitment to scholarly excellence and academic engagement.
