Dr. Dhaneesh K V holds a Masters degree in Zoology and an MPhil and PhD in Marine Biology and Oceanography from Annamalai University. His expertise lies in aquaculture, fishery biology, molecular taxonomy, fish nutrition, and environmental impact assessment. He has made notable contributions to marine aquaculture and environmental pollution monitoring. Dr. Dhaneesh has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and presented his research at international conferences. His work includes breeding and larval rearing of marine ornamental fishes, especially clownfishes, at Lakshadweep Islands. He successfully transferred this technology to the local coastal community. As a PADI-certified advanced open water SCUBA diver, he has documented marine fauna in Lakshadweep's island ecosystem.
