Dr. Mitali Jha has been an Assistant Professor at the School of Psychological Science, Christ University, since 2023. She specializes in clinical health and counseling psychology, focusing on mindfulness, meditation, and culturally-adaptive interventions. Dr. Mitali earned her Ph.D., postgraduate, and undergraduate degrees from SKMU, Jharkhand. Her extensive experience includes roles as a counselor, life skills trainer, and behavioral trainer in various schools and organizations. She presented two significant papers: ?Mapping the Trajectory: Psychology Teaching in India Amidst Global Academic Dynamics? and ?Assessing the Pedagogical Tapestry: A Study on Learner Dynamics.? Her research areas include Indian psychology, spiritual care, and mental health disparities in India. She is recognized for her work in trauma, adolescent behavior, school psychology, mindfulness, and resilience. Dr. Mitali actively mentors UG, PG, and Ph.D. scholars, helping them achieve academic success. She is a member of several associations, including the Indian Psychology Lab, NAOP, and WAPR. As an award-winning mentor (IARDO RACE-2022), she collaborates with professionals to advance mindfulness and Indian psychology.
