Networking program was conducted by eighth semester students under CUESTIC with the aim of increasing the interaction and group work between different batches of the department. Eight semester students organized different games and interactive sections under networking program.
Two days’ Workshop on Electro bionics was organised on 10 and 11th march 2017 with aim of giving the participants an insight into the various biological and physiological elements in our human body and the electronics related to the measurement, analysis, and control of these physiological parameters. The programme will be concentrating on Bio Signal Processing wherein ECG, EEG, and EMG data recording, its analysis and interpretations, and how to check whether these parameters or signals are in the nominal range or pattern. The programme also introduced the various medical equipment used to monitor various physiological parameters like ECG, EMG, and EEG recording/monitoring devices. The poster presentation was also organised for which around 38 posters were presented by students from different departments and external participants.
Farewell for final year students was celebrated on 18th march 2017.
An awareness session was organized by TCS on 7/6/2017. The purpose of the visit was to talk about the latest technology trends, placement orientation , to create awareness about TCSs competitions
CUESTIC office bearer election for the posts of President, Vice President and Secretary will be conducted through LMS. Nominations for the above posts will be taken from 7BTEC, 5BTEC and 3BTEC respectively.
CUESTIC is a technical club for the UG and PG students of ECE. In the first of its kind, all the Associations of the Three Circuits Branches ASCII of CSE&IT, EETA of EEE and CUESTIC of ECE were inaugurated under a common roof at the Open Air Auditorium along with the CUFE IEEE STUDENT BRANCH INAUGURATION on the 14th of July 2017. This grand occasion was graced by the presence of Dr. Iven Jose, Associate Dean, CUFE and Dr.A.Keshav bulbule,ministry of electronics and information technology, Research head parisara pvt.tld.
ME-AW: Mobile radiation & E-waste Awareness week is organised by Department of ECE from 17-July to 22nd-July. Many events and competitions are conducted as a part of it. Highlights of events are Student Rally and Street Play at Rangoli Art Centre, MG Road, Short film competition, Poster design competition and Technical-Quiz which is open to students of all the department.
Source Code, is a mega event conducted by the department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Christ University which consists of Technical as well as Non-technical contests. Source Code 2017-18 was inaugurated on 24th of August followed by two technical talks by renowned personalities:

Dr. Viswanath Talasila, Associate Professor, Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore on the topic “An Uncertain talk- Is anything certain at all”
This event was organized with a full-fledged support and co-ordination from the students of ECE Department. It included over 500 registrations with 5 events. This highlights “SOURCE CODE”.
