The Programme is designed to build strong foundation skills required in administering the Business Enterprises Core functions, including exposure to accounting software and digital skills in finance, marketing and Human Resource. The Programme involves six semesters based on CBCS (Choice Based Credit System) Model involving Core courses, Discipline Specific Electives, Skill Enhancement Courses and Ability Enhancement Courses. Discipline-specific electives offered in the fifth and the sixth semesters, namely Human Resource & Marketing Management, Banking & Insurance and Accounting & Finance, aim to provide exposure to students to deepen their understanding of concepts in the chosen electives. Students must undertake a micro project during the final semester, enabling them to explore research tools. In addition, students are also offered value-added courses in association with professional bodies, domain experts and practitioners designed to make them ‘employment ready.

The Programme involves a plethora of Co-curricular and Extra Curricular activities which aim to hone leadership, communication and team-building skills among students.

Candidates falling under any of the below mentioned categories must apply under the International Student Category:

  1. Foreign citizens,   
  2. PIO card holders and   
  3. OCI (Dual Citizens)

International students coming from Non-English speaking countries should:

  • produce evidence of passing the qualifying examination in English medium or   
  • have IELTS 6.0 with no sub-score below 5.5 or TOEFL (paper) 550, TOEFL (computer) of 213 or TOEFL (IBT) of 79 scores

Candidates without the above pre-qualifications will have to enroll either for

  • Intensive Certificate course in English Language (Full Time) conducted from March to May each year or   
  • One Semester Certificate course in English Language (Part Time) conducted after regular class hours from June to December.

Note: The International Student category fee structure is binding for the full duration of the programme and cannot be transferred /changed in between.

Candidates from the above listed categories having pursued Indian Educational qualification and who may have applied under the Indian States Category will have to pay the International Student Category Fee. The decision of the Admission committee is final.

Eligibility for the programme is a pass at the +2 level (Karnataka PUC / ISC / CBSE / NIOS / State Boards) with not less than 60% from any recognised Board in India.

Candidates writing the +2 examinations in March-May 2022 may apply with their class X and XI marks.

Students pursuing International curriculum must note that eligibility is according to AIU stipulations:

Applicants pursuing IB curriculum must have 3 HL and 3 SL with 24 credits.

Applicants pursuing GCE / Edexcel must have a minimum of 3 A levels with a grade not less than C.

*BCom Morning Programme classes will be held from 06.30 AM onwards. Students applying to BCom Morning shall give an undertaking that, they do not intend to pursue CA programme (The new pattern of CA programme enables article ship immediately after the CPT and hence students cannot attend the regular BCom classes).

# The fee for Karnataka domicile students, as indicated in the table, is the actual fee payable and excludes the scholarship amount.
 
It is to be noted that though the fee is fixed for four years, there may be a periodic nominal increase to meet the rise in costs.
 
1. NRI fee is applicable for the first year for candidates who have studied foreign syllabus (has to be approved by UGC / AIU) in the qualifying examination of study in India. (The above condition is not applicable to NRI and candidates applied under NRI Category).
 
2. NRI fee is applicable for the full duration of the Programme for candidates who;
    2.1. Have pursued and completed their last qualifying exam from outside India.

Important Instructions

  • Read all Important Links (Eligibility, Documents requirements etc) thoroughly.
  • The date and time for the selection process are auto-generated by the system. Therefore, any request for changes will not be entertained.
  • A Google calendar invite will be sent to your registered email id, ONE day before the MP/PI selection process.
  • Candidates failing to appear for the selection process at the stipulated date and time will be considered as “Not Selected”.
  • Candidates must show the original Government recognized photo identity card (Aadhar card/Passport/Voter ID/Recent College ID card) for attending the online selection process. Failing which the application will be considered as “Not Selected”.
  • All original Class 10, Class 12, Degree Marks Card (Students pursuing their final year must have the statement of marks up to the previous semester/year) should be available for verification during the personal interview round.
  • It is recommended to login atleast 15mts before the scheduled time to avoid any last-minute technical glitches.
  • Impersonation or any suspicious behaviour (prompting by a third person or accessing notes/gadgets) will be treated as malpractice and the application will be termed as “Not Selected”.
