The Department of Life Sciences had organized a talk by Dr K R Shivanna, INSA Senior Scientist, Ashoka Trust for Research in Environment and Ecology (ATREEE) Foundation, Bangalore as a part of “Memorial Lecture series on National Personalities” on 27 November 2019. Dr Shivanna shared his experiences and views about the national personalities Dr.Panchannan Maheshwari and Dr.Birbal Sahani. He also spoke about the importance of research and contribution of these scientist to research fields. The talk was followed by open discussion, question and answer session that were highly beneficial to the students.
