Dr. Anupama Nayar serves as a Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT), Government of India. She specializes in Indigenous and Indian Knowledge Systems, with a focus on the sacred groves (Kavus) of Kerala. Her interdisciplinary research promotes cultural preservation, decolonization, and sustainable development. Dr. Nayar incorporates GEDSI (Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion) principles in her work, emphasizing inclusivity and social justice. She has mentored several MA students and guided doctoral scholars in ethnographic and auto-ethnographic research methods.
