Dr. Manjusha Warrier G serves as an Assistant Professor in Psychology at Christ University. She holds an MPhil and PhD in Psychiatric Social Work from NIMHANS, Bengaluru. She also earned a Master's degree in Social Work from Loyola College, Trivandrum. Currently, she is pursuing an MSc in Dementia Studies from the University of Stirling as a Commonwealth Scholar. Additionally, she has completed certifications in Palliative Care and Trauma-Focused CBT. Her research focuses on caregiving for individuals with chronic neurodegenerative conditions. She developed psychotherapeutic interventions during her doctoral research on motor neuron diseases. Dr. Warrier contributes to rehabilitative, palliative, and home care services. Her expertise extends to school mental health, geriatric wellbeing, curriculum development, and program evaluation. She advocates for inclusion, diversity, and equity for marginalized groups. Dr. Warrier specializes in phenomenology and meta-ethnography as a qualitative researcher. She has contributed to national and international journals and book chapters, emphasizing health research. She also coordinates MSc Psychology (Health and Wellbeing) and MSc Clinical Psycho-Oncology programs in the School of Psychological Sciences. Her work underscores a commitment to advancing mental health care and community well-being.
