Dr. Maxmillan Martins research explores climate and extreme weather's impact on livelihoods and the environment. He collaborates with artisanal fishers on Indias southwestern coast, focusing on safe and sustainable fishing practices. His work co-develops climate and weather insights with institutions like Cochin University of Science and Technology, India Meteorological Department, and the Indian National Centre for Ocean Information Services. At the Department of Life Sciences, he teaches climate change and field methods. He also teaches media production at the Department of Media Studies.
