Maria John Paul is a part-time research fellow at the National Institute of Technology Goa. She is pursuing a Ph.D. in Ecocriticism, focusing on Malayalam film and Anthropocene narratives. Her research explores how Malayalam films depict the tensions between environmental and cultural issues. Marias academic work aims to enhance our understanding of the Anthropocene. She also seeks to raise ecological awareness through her research. With three years of teaching experience, Maria has a strong foundation in both literature and environmental studies.
