Dr. Apash Roy is an esteemed academician, philosopher, and motivational speaker. He is an Associate Professor at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bangalore. Previously, he served as a Full Professor in CSE at a college under Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology. He also held roles at Lovely Professional University, ICFAI University Tripura, and the University of North Bengal. Several research scholars have been awarded Ph.D. degrees under his supervision. He is a member of research advisory committees and research evaluation panels. He has guided numerous research projects and supervised many UG and PG academic projects. Dr. Roy completed his Ph.D. and MCA from the University of North Bengal. He has authored numerous articles in reputed journals and filed multiple patents, including one granted by the UK Patent Office. He has contributed as a resource person in workshops and FDPs on open-source software, machine learning, and data science. He has organized conferences, workshops, and FDPs and worked as a reviewer, publication chair, and session chair. His research interests include pattern recognition, machine learning, data science, and quantum machine learning.
