Peer Education

Peer Education System (PES) : Preparing Students for Life

INTRODUCTION

The CHRIST (Deemed to be University) Peer Education System (PES) is a dynamic approach to bonding and mutual understanding based on core values and principles. It is in alignment to our holistic development and SDG  - 3 Good health and well being.

The PES program was formulated by the Centre for Counselling & Health Services (CCHS) and launched on Central Campus in 2009

OBJECTIVES

Peers play a pivotal role in the lives of adolescents and young adults. They often spend most of their time in the company of their peers. Peer relationships can contribute to nurturing intimacy, friendship and positivity, effectively steering toward building a holistic personality, though it may also be a source of stress and conflict.
